Why We Do What We Do

It Started With a Little Girl
As a little girl, I wasn’t dreaming about being the bride. I dreamed about being the one with the clipboard and the headset. The one fluffing the white dress. The one quietly making sure everyone else could simply enjoy the day. For years, that dream stayed just that, a dream.

Then I Became the Bride
Years later, I found myself planning my own wedding. Like so many brides, I leaned on the people I loved most. My mom became my planner, my coordinator, and my problem solver. She answered questions, kept us on schedule, and handled every detail so I could simply enjoy the day.
She gave me the most beautiful wedding I could have asked for. But when I look back, there’s one thing I wish had been different. I wish she could have simply been my mom.

Aurora Rose Was Born
That moment changed everything. I realized that no mother, sister, or best friend should have to spend a wedding answering questions instead of making memories. They deserve to laugh, cry, dance, and celebrate right alongside the couple they love.
Thats why I started Aurora Rose. Not simply to plan weddings, but to give families the freedom to experience them.

Then Kendra Called
For a while, I thought I could do it all on my own. Then one Saturday morning, my phone rang.
It was Kendra.
“What are you doing today?”
“I’m setting up for a wedding.”
There was a long pause.
Forty-five minutes later, she showed up, ready to work. She’s been by my side ever since.
Aurora Rose has never really been about one person. Its about showing up for people. Our couples, their families, and each other.

Beautiful weddings aren’t remembered because every detail was perfect. They’re remembered because the people who mattered most were free to be fully present.
